Το Beyond the Ideal City είναι ένα ανεξάρτητο φεστιβάλ ταινιών που διερευνά την πολυπλοκότητα της σύγχρονης αστικής διάστασης, εξερευνώντας τις συνδέσεις, τις διασταυρώσεις και τις δραστηριότητες που συμβαίνουν στις πόλεις μας. Μέσα από κοινωνικές πρακτικές, πολιτιστικά πλαίσια και ανθρώπινες γεωγραφίες, πέρα από τα στερεότυπα και τις διαδεδομένες καταναλωτικές εικόνες, το φεστιβάλ προωθεί ταινίες που αναδεικνύουν τις πολλαπλές και συνεχώς μεταβαλλόμενες εκφράσεις της δημόσιας ζωής.
Το φεστιβάλ Urban Visions διοργανώνεται στην Μπολόνια, Ιταλία, από τον οργανισμό City Space Architecture, με την επιλογή των ταινιών να έχει επιμεληθεί η Luisa Bravo.

“Beyond the Ideal City” is an independent film festival which investigates the complexity of
the contemporary urban dimension, exploring the connections, intersections and activities
that take place in our cities, seen through the complex interweaving of social practices,
cultural contexts and human geographies, beyond the stereotypes and widespread
consumerist images, with particular reference to the multiple and changing expressions of
public life.
It is promoted by the Italian non-profit cultural association City Space Architecture. The
selected films are curated by Luisa Bravo.
