Humanitarian aid in Gaza exposes a deadly paradox: designed for relief, it enforces violence, starvation, and displacement. In Al-Mawasi’s “safe zone,” aid becomes a weapon of control. The Deadly Aid A2 posters, featuring images by late Palestinian artist Dorgham Qreiqa, a Gazan artist killed in an Israeli strike breaking the ceasefire in March 2025, document how survival itself is manipulated into oppression.

Dorgham Bassam Qreiqa (1997–March 2025) was a Palestinian artist from Gaza whose expressive visual art reflected humanitarian and social realities. Trained in interior design, he collaborated with local and international organizations and founded initiatives like Cinema in the Camp, using art to heal, resist, and inspire his besieged community.
Jafra Abu Zoulouf (b.1987) is a Palestinian visual artist based in Cyprus. Working with photography, video, and installation, she explores memory, history, and identity in relation to Palestine. She is a founding member of the Palestinian Artists Forum and serves as Director and Curator of PIFF Lemesos–Crete, the Palestinian Independent Film Festival.
